Live Online Class: Mirrored Reflections Magic
This wall-hanging is all about how the fabrics you choose create the design. Quilters have asked for this class for years, and I finally figured out how to make it work!
The class is 5 hours - 3 online and 2 offline. The three online hours focus on picking an inspiration fabric and the rest of the fabrics for your Mirrored Reflections wall-hanging, right from your stash. We’ll look at ways to pull possibilities and choose final fabrics. We’ll consider color, print, color schemes, and other color theory concepts as we identify possible fabrics. You’ll refine your choices until you have exactly the ones you want for your quilt and then you will stitch the strip sets together.
Finally, I’ll show you the magic step, and voila! you’ll make your own Mirrored Reflections Magic. You’ll be all set to finish stitching the wall-hanging after class and to adapt your new shopping-from-your-stash skills to your next quilt.
Requirements: you must have a stash! Also, laptop or tablet with webcam for Zoom and phone with camera; capability to cut fabric strips; sewing machine.
